DeWeather Cares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in August 2021 and incorporated in October of 2021.
We are proudly a 100% all-volunteer organization. From our Board members to the people who put together our Cares Kits to the members of our Disaster Task Force that deploy all over the country, everything we do is made possible by dedicated volunteers. Because we have zero paid staff, 100% of every public donation goes directly into supporting and carrying out our programs. Our volunteers are engineers, stay at home moms, retirees, off-duty first responders, investment advisors, human resource managers, professionals and everyday community members who give their time and expertise because they believe in our Mission: To reduce suffering resulting from natural disasters through education, preparedness and response.
